[FR] C’est avec beaucoup de fierté que nous vous proposons de découvrir les sept derniers groupes s’ajoutant à l’affiche de la troisième édition du Fall of Summer, mais comme nous ne savions pas dans quel ordre vous les présenter, nous avons opté pour un petit voyage dans le temps.
Nous commençons avec deux groupes des années 70 dont le premier, formé en 1972, que vous connaissez tous sans le savoir à travers les bandes originales de Dawn of the Dead, Susperia ou Profondo Rosso. Nous sommes donc heureux de vous annoncer que le groupe de Rock progressif italien CLAUDIO SIMONETTI’S GOBLIN vous fera vivre un moment de musique exceptionnel avec projections vidéo sur la scène du lac. Nous sommes également heureux d’annoncer la présence des américain de RIOT V, groupe de Heavy Speed Metal sensationnel et trop souvent oublié qui n’est pas passé chez nous depuis des lustres.
Nous passons maintenant à deux groupes des années 80, avec ADX, les tauliers du Heavy Metal français, toujours fidèles à eux-mêmes après plus de 30 ans de carrière et les patrons du Death Metal polonais VADER.
Nous arrivons aux années 90 avec un groupe fondateur du Funeral Doom. Préparez vous à être scotchés par la musique funeste des Finlandais de SKEPTICISM qui vous offrira leur premier concert français au Fall of Summer.
Et comme le Metal ne s’est pas arrêté de nous fournir des groupes de qualité le siècle dernier, nous vous proposerons également de découvrir ou redécouvrir deux groupes des années 2000 dont l’inclassable groupe de Death Metal avant-gardiste néerlandais THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT et les thrashers suédois de DIE HARD dont ce sera le premier concert en France.
Nous espérons que vous êtes aussi satisfaits que nous de cette troisième affiche et vous encourageons à aller écouter tous les groupes que vous ne connaissez pas ou peu, pour ne pas louper de concert inoubliable, et surtout laissez vous surprendre par le live, parce que notre religion est la musique, que nous apprenons chaque jour qu’il faut la vivre pleinement avec curiosité et sans modération. On se voit en Septembre !

[EN] The Fall of Summer team is proud to announce the last seven bands of its third edition’s line up. As it’s always hard to know which one we have to start with, we have decided to follow a chronological order.
So we will start with two bands from the 70s. For the first one, formed in 1972 if you don’t recall their name, you will certainly remember their music, as the italian progressive rock band CLAUDIO SIMONETTI’S GOBLIN is known for their soundtrack work for films like « Suspiria« , « Dawn of the Dead« , « Profondo Rosso« … and we know already that their performance on the Blackwater stage with it’s natural amphitheater, the video screening and the lake behind will be one of the highlights of the festival. Another band you would be a fool to miss and we are glad to announce is RIOT V. If you search for Heavy Speed Metal at its best don’t search further and just enjoy a pure Metal moment with a band that hasn’t played in France for so long that we had to do something.
Let’s move to the 80’s with two great and solid bands who have always been a reference in their countries, with Heavy Metal french representatives ADX and polish Death Metal masters VADER. Two bands that don’t need introduction and who will as always provide a kick ass gig.
If we now look at the 90’s, we are thrilled to remind you the birth of Funeral Doom in Finland and announce that, one of its pioneers, SKEPTICISM will join us, or another crucial band that we needed to bring to Fall of Summer and to France for the first time.
And because there are so many great bands from the 21st Century we are glad to welcome the Dutch Metal Avant Garde Death Metal band THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT and for the first time in France the Swedish Thrash metalheads from DIE HARD.
We hope you are as happy as we are about the line-up and remember to check out the bands you don’t know before missing a unforgettable gig cause Music is our Religion and from Music we learn everyday! See you in September !
